Is Marriage A Joke

While chatting with the strangers on orkut as a part of my habit, eventually a topic of marriage was started. It was all about what marriage will bring to you. In many countries Divorce rate has been increased to 40% and fortunately in India it is still 2-3%. We were trying to find the reason and we came across certain facts...
People are not taking marriages seriously.
The countries where Divorce rate is high, about 50 years back there it was much harder to take Divorce and it used to be considered as very bad in the society and all the people and church would look down to Divorced person..
But now with the increase of liberty it has become normal, and fortunately in India despite of liberty still the situation is very Good and Divorce rate is very low.
I came to know that people in all the countries with the same thought as in India that they will spend all the life together but if the partner isn't so nice as they thought they just divorce and seek another partner. They don't think divorce as bad.
And now the situation in India is also becoming like that till today the situation India is like that it was in other countries 50 years back when people were scared of Divorse but the Day seems not to be far away when the situation in India will also be same.
As per the views of a foreigner "" If people just don't fit together they should not spend all their lives together and its better if people think about it before they get married. And it would be nicer if people just stay together.""
After this I am confused about what should be there.
Is the live in relationship a better option???
But honestly I am not in favor of that and as per me after getting married only your partner could be your best life partner!!!

What people outside India think about India

India is a beautiful country; this is what we know about India. Here I will try to present the views of foreigners that what they think about India.
After going through various surveys I came across various interesting and shocking facts.

India has much popularity in all the countries because of religious people over here, second because of tourism and various beautiful places like Goa, Aravallis, Lotus Temple etc.
People outside India have heard so many stories about India and mainly Buddhists thinks very positive about India because of its religiousness.
In general most people think it as very beautiful and spiritual country.

But there is harsh reality behind this sweet truth. Unfortunately India is known for the casteism which is prevailing in the roots of India.
Many human right authorities abroad don't like India because of casteism.
A daily soap is being broadcasted in Brazil about India. It is a story of Indian merchants who deals with Brazil. Unfortunately this serial is also displaying the casteism. This soap has a romance of a woman who is untouchable. So, this is the bitter fact of India. I have words with someone about how to improve this situation in India. He gave me some wonderful ideas about that. The two which I liked most and which seems to be practical are..
1. Education 2. Dialogue
1. Education can eradicate it from the roots. If everyone is aware of the fact that everybody is equal and same, then we can eradicate it from roots but large scale awareness is required.
2. Dialogue - let the people of high castes talk with the untouchables.
The people in many countries have never seen casteism but they have just read about that. As per their rules and mentality everyone is equal. Can't it be in India???
Yes, Why not?
No doubt it’s hard to change something that is deeply rooted in the minds/culture and it will take time but the contribution of every reader is required.
A girl from Netherlands was visiting India but she doesn't like that many people here were on drugs like the taxi drivers, coolies etc.
They have no standard of living. She found that they were earning for drugs and drinking.

YOUNG PEOPLE,OLD RULERS

If we talk about politics in India it is like discussing about the hell on earth . Specially ,the politics in last two decades has gone down and people look politicions as someone who cheat them by a fair mean. 'Fair mean' here I describe it because it is the public only who elects their representatives for the local bodies, state assembly and for sansad. India is a country where more than 60% of the population is young. But the rulers of the country are old. Ministers,M.L.As,M.Ps are mostly above 60 years of age. There is big gap between the people ruling us and the generation suppose to be a future of the nation. We have a long political system and a person willing to be a M.P,M.L.A in a young age, has to follow a long political system process till that he also become older or over age for the nation. Our Prime Minister is 76 yrs. old, external minister is 77 yrs. old, home minister is 65 yre.old, finance minister is 74 yrs. old, petroleum minister is 72 yrs. old, defence minister is 70 yrs. old,law minister is 69 yrs. old, minister of power is 68 yrs. old, surface transport minister is 64 yrs. old, even the minister of youth affairs and sports is 74 yrs. old, leader of the opposition L.K Advani is 82 yrs. old. In previous U.P.A government human resource development minister Arjun Singh is 81 yrs. old. Chief minister of Tamil Nadu is unable to stand on his legs and at the 84 yrs. of age he is ruling the state. C.M of Karnataka is 69 yrs. of age, C.M of Delhi is 68 yrs.old, lok sabha speaker is 66 yrs. old, C.M of Assam is 70 yrs. old, C.M of Kerala is above 75 yrs. of age. B.S Sehkavat wae vice president of the country at the 76 yrs. of age, A.B Vajpayee was P.M at the age of 74 yrs. Ram Parkash Gupta was sworn as the C.M of U.P when he was 81 yrs. old, C.M of Punjab is above 75 yrs. old,Babu lal Gaur (Ex. C.M of M.P) was C.M at a age of 73 yrs.
I know that as the age increases , exprience also increases and in politics exprience has more value than anything else. But the question is that when the new generation is going to take over from the old leaders. No doubt this time in the 15th lok sabha maximum young leaders are elected, the total no. is 82, who are below 40 yrs. of age. But again this is not good for the nation because most of these newly elected young M.Ps belong to the political families only.

BJP vs Congress or Whom to Vote?

I am trying to be completely unbiased in writing this topic... I am writing this because every one should vote and before giving vote we should be clear to whom we should vote

The motive or writing such a contradictory article is not to create contradiction but is to make the picture clear in the minds of people about both the parties. I am trying to write this article completely unbiased.

I m trying to provide the facts in favor and against both the political parties

If I talk about BJP first we all have seen the rule of BJP during their tenure, in my point of view it was successful. And about congress, they have experience of decades. Both are the strong candidates this is what everyone knows but who is stronger this is what public has to decide. But as per today's scenario, people like none of them.

As per the words of tongue congress is secular on the other hand BJP seems to be orthodox

The past record of congress is not good but in present they are doing well by bringing youth. As we can see congress was found guilty in the 1983s massacre with Sikhs. Even the report of 'Nanawali Ayog' proved congress wrong in 'Bhindrawala's case'. Even Rajiv Gandhi was under suspicion for 'Bo-force Scam'.

The strategy which congress adopts to acquire more votes is very attractive. Congress tries to convince common people by going into them which is good as well and they usually tries to go into poor and uneducated because they know this category of people constitutes the biggest vote bank. Most of the educated people believe that BJP can do well but the irony is that lesser educated people vote.

A brief review of Both the Parties:

BJP
Supposedly, Hindu Nationalist party.
Ministers who fight against IIMs drink water out of flower pots and get ill.
Good choice for govt. at center because they have absolutely no idea of how to go about things.
Bad choice for govt. at state level because of crackpot leaders who believe that their religion is supreme and should be force fed to every one else.

Congress -
Thinks that it owns India since its founders participated in freedom struggle.
Gandhi family is its lifeline, will collapse if not for them.
Very dangerous choice for centre, because of dictatorial mindset.
Good choice for opposition at center because they mellow down and support good decisions of the government.
Good choice for govt. at state level because they can't do too much harm.

I am writing the views of a person who has never voten in his life, "I have never voted in my life and will not vote for either. I am waiting for the formation of the Capitalist Party of India. I Will campaign for it if it is formed."

"Vote BJP" for their some good work done while they were in power before UPA govt."

A few days back, I watched a debate in Rajya Sabha on a Private Members bill. One MP wanted to make voting compulsory. Since it is our right, it should be our duty too - he contended. But, he forgot that this is India. People get away with murder and rape. What is the law going to do if you fail to vote?

I was chatting with a guy I met on Live Journal about the way our country is being run and I had this weird idea I thought of long ago. He was eligible to vote for almost 4 years but and He had never vote so far. The simple reason for this was that he really doesn't care. He told that none of the candidates really deserved his vote. And there was no way he could express that. So why not insert another option along with all the other names on the ballot paper saying 'none'. And for every vote that says 'none' deduct 1 vote from all the other candidates. I bet most of them will land up with negative number of votes.

As for the section, here it is:

THE CONDUCT OF ELECTIONS RULES, 1961

Did you know that there was a system in our constitution, as per the
1969 act, in section "49-O" that a person can go to the polling booth,
confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the presiding
election officer that he doesn't want to vote anyone !!!!
Yes, such a feature is available, but obviously these seemingly
notorious leaders have never disclosed it.

This is called "49-O". Why should you go and say "I VOTE NOBODY"...
because, in a ward, if a candidate wins, say by 123 votes, and that
particular ward has received "49-O" votes more than 123, then that
polling will be cancelled and will have to be re-polled.

Not only that, but the candidature of the contestants will be removed
and they cannot contest the re-polling, since people had already
expressed their decision on them.

This would bring fear into parties and hence look for genuine
candidates for their parties for election.

This would change the way, of our whole political system... it is
seemingly surprising why, and election commission has not revealed
such a feature to the public.... please spread this news to as many
as you know... Seems to be a wonderful weapon against corrupt parties
in India... show your power, expressing your desire not to vote
anybody, is even more powerful than voting... so don't miss your chance.

So either vote, or vote not to vote (vote 49-O) and pass this
info on...

"Can Mr.Narayana Murthy of Infosys become PM?"

"No honest man can become the PM of the country (Manmohan Singh, though honest and well respected by all, is not the 'real' PM). If someone does try, crooks will first try to buy him off. If that fails, they will try character assassination. That is why politics has acquired such a bad name - it stinks."

A Hard Tested severe RULE can destroy disputes and wrong things. So hard rules for the politicians can be brought up so that they r scared to some extent. Rules like cancelling the citizenship of the particular politician who engage in serious briberies can make them aware of a true government. Of course it is not easy to stop this bribery completely but we can control it to some extent and the briberies, very naked, will be stopped. This post can be leaded by youths, especially, the sons and daughters of the opposite parties. Keen observations can be made by them because nowadays youth are the most expected ones for developing our nation, and also the opposite party will only notice the person's wrong actions than the leader from his own party who would only support his mistakes.

Should educated people vote?

Elections are near and many of the educated people don't want to vote because they find none of the parties suitable. But here the question arises that in a Democratic country how a person could stay without voting as this is govt. by the people for the people and of the people. If someone is not making use the 'by' thing then he should not deserve the 'of' and 'for'. So as a part of democratic country we should vote.

Most of the people think that if government is not doing anything for them then why they should vote. But the reason they don't work well could be that they always try to please poor and uneducated because they know that this is the sector which vote and they don't work for educated because they know that educated people will not vote. That's why they make such policies which are helpful for poor but not for country, e.g. relieving the farmers of loans, because they know that farmers will vote in their favor. But if they will come to know that educated are going to vote then they will be scared of making such policies because ultimately it will affect their vote bank.

Now I have given the valid reasons to vote and it's up to the reader now to decide that have he still not to vote???

A few days back, I watched a debate in Rajya Sabha on a Private Members bill. One MP wanted to make voting compulsory. Since it is our right, it should be our duty too - he contended. But, he forgot that this is India. People get away with murder and rape. What is the law going to do if you fail to vote?

I was chatting with a guy I met on IM about the way our country is being run and I had this weird idea I thought of long ago. And for every vote that says 'none' deduct 1 vote from all the other candidates. I bet most of them will land up with negative number of votes.

So, again should an educated person vote???

The decision cannot be imposed but it's in the hands of educated people.

Kill the war

I m writing this topic because the chances of war seemed to be get stronger between India and Pakistan... and this blog will try to direct the discussion towards what points should be kept in mind by the new government after the elections to tackle war...
But we should try to kill the war.
War will bring nothing except destruction... And it’s not the solution
India doesn’t want war but terrorists and Talibani including some Pakistani don’t understand the fact...
It will just take the lives of thousands of innocent people...
So kill the war not innocent people of India...
I want THE VIEWS OF EVERYBODY about the solution f problem between India and Pak and I want the views of every Pakistani about Indians...
Now my question was that what should Pak do and what should India do at this point of time?

I got answers from various people. Answer of one of the persons was…
“First don’t think there is such a thing as 'innocent Indian people!’ You are making it sound as if Pakistan is about to nuke India in the morning. If someone should refrain from war, it’s the Indians. They are the one's who seem hell bent on mimicking America. Pak has gone so far as to threaten us with cross border attacks' in order to pursue their fanatic goals. Saying that... I do agree that war is not a solution but the means to the end. It’s not good for us or them but until and unless the likes of Manmohan Singh and company can get that thru their thick skulls, any weakness on our part will be suicidal. Being a pacifist is one thing, being a coward is another. We have right to defend ourselves, as long as the Indians stay on their side of border there should not be any problem.”
This answer was somehow in favor of war and lets see what other people say…
“No, we have to destroy terrorism not Pak because we hate terrorist not the innocents of Pak.”
“No, war shouldn't be there in India and Pak because it causes imbalance in nature, affects economical activities etc.”

I think we should wait n watch that what action Pak will take on evidences given by us, if there is no satisfactory reaction then as Pranav Mukharji said we have all alternatives. War is not the perfect solution now. If war used to be there then it should have been done. But now it’s of no use.
Moreover its the history of India that India has never initiated war from its end but when war is imposed India has never legged behind to defend itself.
Lets see... and comment.

Need to Invest in Agriculture

Agriculture was the backbone of India, I am very sorry for using "was" here. My intention behind writing this article is not to degrade the Agriculture, but to question my young friends to realize the real problem or cause for this set back, because the contribution of Agriculture to the GDP of the Nation is drastically coming down. The reason is not lack of support from the Government, but government programs and benefits are not reaching the farmers. India would have achieved the very old and proud dream of becoming a developed nation long back, if it would have taken proper scientific measures in the right time to improve the quality of farming in India.

Unfortunately, we are importing sugar, cotton, areca nuts, vanilla, wheat and many more food grains and agricultural produces which can be produced to the fullest to cater the complete requirement of the nation in India only, but our unscientific farming methods are forcing us to look at imported items to save our money as an individual/firm/company, not as a nation.

Indian Government being the member of WTO is not allowed to stop importing, but the awareness which we can create in each of us will definitely reduce the value of importing gradually. One importer or a trader will think of importing foreign goods and products only in two situations, i.e.
1. The internal production is not sufficient to meet the requirements of the people and the raw material scarcity is not permitting industries to produce,
2. The quality of the goods produced inside the nation is not meeting the expectations of the people both in terms of price and quality.

In case of first scenario, Importing is necessary. But in the second scenario, Importing will be done just to benefit a company or a person. In that case, the kind of loss which is going to be created will not affect only people or companies doing the same line of business or production, but also the creditability of the economy of a nation.

As a youth and the responsible citizen of the nation, My humble suggestion, advice and request to all educated and young friends is to give at least 50% concentration towards the development of Agriculture and farming in India by getting involved in the process of educating the farmers to make use of the technology and the modern machineries and equipments to improve the end result.

We have business people, Industrialists, Investors who are ready to invest thousands of crores to set up Restaurants, Liquor Research Labs, Horse Racing Clubs, Cricket Teams, Movie production houses and many more which can just bring luxury to a person but not the Life.

One can't live without food and the only source for food is Agriculture and Farming. My humbleness is to see Business people and Industrialists coming forward to set up Agriculture Developmental Parks, Research and Training Parks, and many more of this kind.

Our Governments has to change the model in which the representatives and officers work in the Government departments. Even office boy in a Private company will be having certain targets, but

- How many of our ministers and government officials have targets?

- How many people are really working for the prosperity of the nation?

- Our Governments always think of increasing the revenue of the Government and the people over there, But they never show interest in increasing the income of people of the Nation. As long as this continues, the dream of becoming a developed nation will remain as a dream.

BARAK OBAMA !!!!!!

I talked to various people and tried to get views of various people about OBAMA and what I was able to get is all that …
Obama's first and the foremost challenge is to curb recession...that too first priority is US... in this regard the steps taken by him are:
1. Trade Protectionism-3000$ tax rebate for the companies who hire Americans and help avoid outsourcing (not sure if this is for every individual or what, please clear my doubt)
2. Planning to invest 150$ billion for renewable resources like wind, solar power and the next generation befouls to prevent climate change and thus creating 5million jobs
3. Tax rebate to 95% of the Americans
4. Planning to be independent of Middle East for oil in coming decade thus avoiding flow of currency.
5. Against giving bonuses and believes in equal pay for equal work and thus helping common man.
6. Obama has recently assembled his" dream green team" comprising of one of d best scientific mind n he seeks to use there expertise to create a low carbon economy.
7. Regaining the Image which America has lost when bush was president
8. Getting back of Military forces from Iraq and frees them
9. Fight against terrorism
Coming of Obama is beneficial for America but it may be unhealthy for India to some extent.
It may cause
1. Jobs cutting in India
2. unemployment of Indians in US
3. Degradation of outsourcing Industry in India
And…. So on

Let's see how well he remains stick to these policies..!!

I need the views of every visitor that IS THE PRESIDENCY OF OBAMA BENIFICIAL TO INDIA ???
